טבע אישי – ציורים מאת יצחק ניר, צייר וטייס

‘Personal Nature’ is the most personal series by Yitzhak Nir, painter and fighter pilot. It brings together works born of memories and life itself: his room at Kibbutz Merhavia in 1966, memories of ‘Beit Zvi’, ‘The breakfast after the flight’, ‘The pilot’s halo’ and ‘Changing career’.

The series also includes the large work ‘When your enemy falls’ (275×175 cm, 2011), ‘El Alte’, ‘The last hunt of the day’ and ‘We have no other land’ from 2023, alongside still-life paintings, animals and pencil drawings. Techniques range from oil and tempera on wood to watercolour on paper.
